BLUETOOTH: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth. Plays wirelessly from any playing device over 300 ft. New integrated Bluetooth circuitry available exclusively from Retro Radio Farm is completely internal inside the radio! No external plugs, cables, or receiver device! Switch from Bluetooth to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Pairs within seconds. No batteries to recharge! Sounds great! Absolutely no noise from Bluetooth circuitry!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Admiral in 1949 time frame in excellent working and very good physical condition. 

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original ivory factory painted molded Bakelite. No cracks or chips. Factory ivory paint is dinged and scratched throughout due to normal wear and tear but not abuse.

KNOBS: Original color matching volume and tuning knobs in excellent condition with no cracks, or chips some warping. No broken attach posts. Ivory tuning pointer is original and securely attached.

LOGO: Admiral recessed original factory painted logo is in excellent condition.

DIAL LIGHT: No tuning dial light. Not designed with one. But can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: None.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: replacement power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact securely attached. All factory printing is readable. 

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.

PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets.
