Harvest Gold 1963 Truetone Model 59C22 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Sounds Great! Excellent Condition!

DESCRIPTION: Rare color combination from a rare manufacturer. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Truetoner in 1959 in pristine physical condition.

CABINET CONDITION: This radio is in excellent condition with no cracks or major scratches anywhere on the cabinet. There is a small chip on the inside corner top right front. The yellow looks like a mustard yellow or harvest gold and evenly colored top to bottom with no discoloration. ALl original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted no over spray no touch ups. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial, clock or logo lettering. No repaints or repairs of any kind.

SOUND QUALITY:  Picks up AM stations up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. This radio is over 55 years old!

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but one can added for an extra charge.

KNOBS: Original volume and tuning knobs are securely attached. The tuning dial works fine with no slippage. The little clock and alarm knobs are original, intact securely attached nicely yellowed with age. How sweet!

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. The clock motor is quiet no buzzing, humming, or grinding. Alarm works. Clock and alarm set functions work. 

BACKING BOARD: Backing board is missing right portion. Crisp square corners clean unfaded color and crisp factory lettering. Securely attached. 

FACTORY LABELS: The factory sticker on the bottom is missing.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: No paper and wax capacitors, or electronics, have been replaced. The tubes are working fine and glow orange are they should. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static free performance in the future. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

POWER CORD: The brand neew replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

PROVENANCE: Was gently used, lovingly displayed, or stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or thick carpet.

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 13" x 6" x 6.5" (l x w x h)

COLOR: Harvest gold and gray with red knobs. Outta sight!
